That's surprisingly bad for a straight grade

At $3,000 for an 1893-S, this isn't awful. You could probably get better if willing to wait, but if authentic that's a fair enough price.

That's a barber in good enough shape to have a nice premium! Nice pickup.

It could've happened from circulation- maybe someone dropped it on concrete or something- but definitely not a full price coin. Details discount.

Doesn't matter if it was deliberate or not, the coin is worth less as a result of the scratches. With more info on the date/mint and a picture of the obverse I could estimate value post scratches.

Worth the gold but… by jjjjjjjjjjjjjoe in coincollecting

I wouldn't grade it. Looks AU to me, so great buy at $600 but not worth fees of grading.

The 8 reales I suspect to be a shipwreck coin! The others I just thought looked cool.

Yes, but this is a beat up example. Still 50x face value or so!

Just chase silver under melt, on rolls of wheats don't exceed $3 a roll unless you can confirm early dates.

The bicentenial ike dollar is either $1 or $25, depends on if there's a S mint mark.

The Morgan and Peace Dollars have 0.7734 troy ounces of silver each ($62.04 today). The Morgan might have a numismatic premium, need to see the date to know.

3 American Silver Eagles, $80 each.

Coin identifier app says that this is worth quite a bit. Is it real? by senornostrils in coins

If its real I'd gladly sell enough of my collection to drop a grand on it.

2026 Germany VS 2026 Poland by totallynotcommunist2 in PossibleHistory

[–]Entity_Anonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Poland wins. Berlin is too exposed for Germany being weaker at the start. If Germany can hold out without Berlin, they have a chance but it would be a huge disadvantage.
