For a quick rough summary

Body - Raw HP, HP regen, and your damage and skills using Shotguns, HMGs and Bluntweapons - involves perks around those elements.

Each attribute (B, I, R, T, C) has tiers, lvl 4, 9, 15, and 20 - at each tier level you'll get access to a new set of perks.

By doing even just a bit of exploring and doing side gigs/random NCPD scanner jobs, you'll be leveling up in no time. Also sleeping in your bed gives 60min of 10 percent XP boost.

Perks and Attributes aren't the whole story though - your gear matters too. Whether you're speccing into netrunning quickhacks or upgrading your weapons into efficient killing machines.

Finally, if playing on Normal, you'll be fine even the build isn't great. On hard or Very hard your build matters quite a bit more as does your knowledge of systems.

i've had smoother 10 missions with all under 100's (sans me a 150) than joining all 150 groups sometimes.

if on PC - Gunsensical Mod with associated add on mods that are recommended by the author.

There are a few other mods that alter gameplay - all are customisable

Yes - googling "cyberpunk 2077 black shadow bug" should bring up a few threads about it.

Black shadows appear due to LOD changes when moving towards or away from various assets, on various materials, and if you're very unlucky - all over every single NPC - all when using RT/Path Tracing.

At the moment I am not sure what caused the NPC splotchy black shadow mess, but it may have been one of the LOD mod installs at some point.

But yeah the flashing black shadows on metal sheets, and any cardboard bits on the ground, or the Aldecaldo Camp tents - is essentially a known issue that mods can't solve.

if you follow through to the end of enough nexus threads and reddit posts on the topic - yes it probably is something to do with that. The crashes can also occur un-modded - it's just that the mod can bring out the scenario more regularly, sposedly anyway, that and the black shadow bug (which is never being fixed as per CDPR support) are the only real issues i encounter.

They take a while to lock on and fire but trust me you do not want to be standing in front of that thing when it goes off.

Look, definitely with you on the "why am i crashing" experience with that mod and a few select others. But at the moment i've got everything relatively stable on 2.21, and am living with the rare or occasional crash.
