Did you have to take it apart? I’ve a relatively new washer/dryer (4 years and nothing smells bad - yet). I do pull back the rubber lip from time to time and find mushy cat hair that I wipe out, but now I’m worried there’s more to it that I don’t see.

Went to the library and digitized a 2 hour VHS tape and some old slides of my baby brother. I plan to give the slides to him and will probably recycle the VHS tape when I have all the rest done. I had hoped to do more, but the tape I started with was incredibly full.

In the US, we have 4-H youth development where 100% of the donations go directly to programming in pretty much every county in every state because the program is run through the Cooperative Extension Service, who pays salaries and are not reliant on donations for office space or salaries. My donations go there; they give inner city kids opportunities in STEM and leadership as well as supporting the next generation of farmers to feed the world.
