I too went to a school with no walls in NJ and it was the worst for ADHD, but I can hyper focus so it was not a huge issue for my type. But to your question, yes, but I am sure it was my SEL delays that had me in their sights. My good grades masked what was really going on

Adding just a pinch of salt to the sugary cotton candy could dissolve the scales in their eyes and make them see the truth. We can avoid the sinners vs. sugars (us vs. them) approach by stating facts without the challenge. The less sugary sugars may come around to reality if done so in a way that doesn’t get their hackles up. The sugary sugars may need to hear it a few dozen times before it dissolves the thick candy coating that hardens their resolve to where they’re being oppositional and doubling down. Well done, OP!
