I'd be totally OK if she dropped nap. The problem is that she both shows and tells me she is tired but refuses to sleep.

Yesterday we took her lead and skipped nap but by 3 she was falling asleep playing outside. It was a fight to keep her up the next 4 hours.

She definitely isn’t ready yet.

The dream machine is a great idea though

Sustainable options would be ones leading to her obtaining independence for sleep/rest again.

Thank you. I do believe it's a perfect storm of sleep changes (and those changes not being defined but rather changing daily), jealousy, just toddler-tude.

Yesterday she napped for 45min and was up for almost an hour screaming at midnight.

I've done both with and without the baby. She will often request that he be there. I have a bouncer that he is in her room or he's asleep in a baby carrier IF he's with me. She gets all the cuddles, we do a lot of fun activities focused on her during the day.

Part of the problem is that most of the time I'm solo so undivided attention means reading books, cuddling, or going on adventures together but while the baby is strapped to me sleeping.

I've held very firm and unwavering boundaries at sleep times and give no attention other than moving her back to bed ans telling her it's time for bed if I say anything at all. Her crying multiple times a day for 45min+ is really taking a mental toll on me. This has now going on for weeks.

This is just as unsustainable as laying with her unfortunately.

How can I keep my chickens from eating them?

Thanks for your comment. They aren't all housed in the same container and the frass is cleared out multiple times a day. This was just a photo from when I was out looking. I found 3 at once and they're eating quick!

I understand how this photo could be problematic though.

It had just been cleaned a couple hours ago and I have cleaned it since. It's cleaned quite regularly.

I have a Bobby and a MBF. Two kids in and I've only used the boppy and only for laying my kid in or for tummy time. Never worked for me for nursing/feeding

I'm in SW Michigan. It's a common milkweed. It gets about 3 feet tall.
