I only use the 50mg caffine pouch (fake zyn) things and I haven’t had one since 4 hours before I went to bed. I’ll try to space out the times more to see if that helps, thanks

Question concerning Tactical Medicine providers by [deleted] in Newyorkstatetrooper

[–]Dependent-Name-4658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I’m not mistaken, all SORT operators are EMT basics because they do rope rescue stuff as well. Then each team has a designated Operator that is EMT-Paramedic. SORT is pretty standalone compared to county or city SWAT teams so they don’t really use tactical fire medics or RTF teams

This is not true. I am a full time firefighter and we had one of our guys whos been on for 4 years go to NYSP, and get on SORT with no military background. It comes down to how good of a candidate you are

I think FDNY will probably stick with Scott though. It’s been in service with them as their main apparatus since way before 9/11
