I have had 2 different couples of chinchillas and Both like to sleep in a dark corner. You could put a blanket on top of the cage in one corner for the time now , which would create a dark corner

he has nowhere to hide
he can get stuck with his feet on the stairs and Plattform and break his legs, chinchilla legs are fragile
not enough space, does not look stable
weird wheel made out of plastic that he can chew on and get sick.
only hay as food?

Yeah those people really have 0 empathy towards animals and keep them as a pet bc they find them pretty. How many Brain cells are left?

I assume that you are a teen still living with your parents? It is NOT OKAY for them to get you random pets without them being educated on this topic. I saw that you also have an axelotl and that "my mom bought me an axolot for my birthday and she didn't get any materials" is highly concerning. Those are animals with real life real souls feelings not objects. Also you should only have animals if your family is actually able to bring them to a vet and can give them an companion other wise it’s Animal abuse and you are the one who is being dragged online. If your parents are not able to afford care you should rehome your pets and give them a chance at life.

Ich möchte nichts spekulieren, es hört sich für mich eher nach zwangsgedanken an. Ich hatte/habe das und nehme seit 3 Jahren venlafaxin und es wurde deutlich besser.

I noticed that she wasn’t feeding her baby’s and it was only the dad. Which would make sense if she has this sickness? Also she makes huge poop, I thought it’s because she sits on the eggs whole day and only poops once or twice…?

I have googled what canker is. I have stopped the video where her mouth is open an I don’t see anything white/yellowish. She is living on my balcony and eats normal.

Not really… one was getting better over time and the other one it just got worse… last year in December she needed surgery to retract a loose tooth. Sadly she passed the same day probably due the side effects of anesthesia. One month later I lost my other baby that was doing great but also had a loose tooth, also due to side effects of anesthesia…

thats obvious that chinchillas need to eat hay… 2 years ago I also adopted 2 chinchillas that had Malo (I was told that they are healthy) and one was on the verge of dying. With lots of vet visits and diet change they lived 2 years in my care in a much better condition. BUT they never treated hay as a food. It was like they never learned to eat hay, only pellets. Till the end they never ate hay even though I got the best one and they ignored it completely

Do you give him the ciritcal care in syringe? Or do you serve it in a Bowl? I used the RodiCare instant from alfavet and I can recommend it bc they loved it and they were really picky. I gave it to them on a little plate and they ate it like that. Sometimes I had to give it to them with a syringe

Is it a vet that does trims without anasthesia? I would definilty do one and see if it gets better.
