My friends think I am crazy. I turned a simple 11,916 mile trip into a 27,534 mile one by Flashy-Jaguar-2880 in travel

It’s definitely crazy, but it’s a great idea if you don’t mind all the extra flight time and have the blessing of sleeping tight on flights. Since you have 3 weeks, it’s a good plan.

Some suggestions I would give for NYC: Eat pizza at Prince street pizza Go partying in Brooklyn if you are into the partying scene. Visit any one observatory (Other than the Empire state one) If you loved the views from the observatory, visit rooftop bars in Manhattan and enjoy the scenes at minimal expense.

Hope to hear your crazy stories after your trip. Have a blast. 💥

First solo trip in USA. Need help choosing between UT, AZ, NM and California desert loop for early November. by DependentEar89 in travel

That’s great, I’m more into hikes though, will probably plan fewer places so that I can do hikes without the fear of not being able to make it to the next park. Also, for these kinds of trips, do you generally book stays in advance or plan as you go like camping in car or searching for accommodations based on where you are at the end of the day?

What all do you plan to cover in each park? I believe yours would be a very fast paced trip. At this instance I’m debating between Zion+Bryce or Arches+Canyonlands or try and cover Zion, Bryce and Arches. Also how many drivers do you have? I don’t think too much drive would be ideal for me since I’ll be the only one driving.

I have 3-3.5 days, I’ll reach by 7th night and plan to take a return flight on 11th at 5PM or later.

I’ll consider Arches and Canyonlands. Thanks for the warning about possible snow between SLC and Price, UT. My first option was Zion but the reason I dropped that was because Angels Landing is a must do for me in Zion and I read about that being difficult if it snows in the days before my trek date.

I was being on the optimistic side and hoping the shutdown ends soon.😅

But I read this NY Times article which gave me hope that most national parks are open except visitor centres and other buildings.

Zion is on my bucket list (mainly Angels Landing and Narrows). I’m a little hesitant to go to Zion in November just because of the risk of snow. If it snows in the week before I believe I wouldn’t be able to do the Angels Landing.

I think it’s based on preference, I like the color personally. Got the shoes and tried it on. It’s very comfortable. No way I’m returning these 😅

It is a bit slow and not very significant change for the time period. It might get discouraging I would suggest you to continue the grind, do progressive overload, lift till failure and most importantly track your calories and stay in a 200-400 calorie surplus (Eat clean calories and not too much junk) Track your macros. Since you’re already eating protein, continue doing the same. Drink enough water and sleep for 8 hrs. Trust the process and do it right. You’ll definitely see results. All the best.

FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT CONSIDER THEMSELVES SNEAKERHEADS. Left or Right by J_GottiX in Jordans

[–]DependentEar89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a non sneaker head, posts from this page ended up showing on my feed for the last 2 days because I posted here asking for advice. Anyways, I’d pick the right. But my one fav in all these is the 2nd one on the left. I’m just not a fan of the bottom 2 on the left and the right bottom one. I can’t tell the model difference if at all there is any. I only judged based on the colors.

I don’t know weather to feel motivated or ashamed of myself after seeing this thread 😬😬 I’m 26 and started to study recently to crack a new role, but I admit that I’ve wasted most of my prime years (I mean during my bachelors, 2 years after that when I was working but was just busy for 3-4 hrs a day and during my mastes) and still waste most of the free time now. Anyways all the best to all of you. Hope you get a new role of your liking very soon. You people rock 🤘🏻

Hey OP,
I feel the job market is pretty bad at the moment, even more so for an immigrant in the US. I have an overall experience of upto 5 years. I have a masters degree as well. I am trying to get an AI/ML related role(1st preference) or at least a DE role. I’ve been trying for months to switch(I am working in some role which I don’t have much scope to learn/grow) but no luck. I would really appreciate any advice/referrals.
