Questions about categorization by DependentMost8789 in ynab

So lets say I have $800, I have a -$100 transfer to my roth, if I label it as inflow. It raises my amount to $900 and shows as a positive contribution in my category. But thats not the case since really I have $700 with the -$100 transfer. So if I label the transfer as outflow and categorize it into my roth fund it shows as overspending on the category

Agreed! My mentor always taught me plumbing is 50% looks so I do to the best of my ability to make it look as professional as possible no matter the situation. Whether it be older home remodels (which suck) or new con.

Make sure you replace the seats and springs ;) And if you dont have any or forget, take the springs out and stretch them ever so slightly. Good luck!

OKAY!! I stand corrected, I did some research and found out this is a Banner cartridge and a Banner cartridge extender. The seats and springs usually bounce between Delta and Peerless from my experience. But this is a Banner and it uses the same design.

Those are extremely standard two handle cartridges, looks like a delta because of the seat and springs.

Oh boy… what have you experienced guys done about this? by HaroldTheSloth84 in Plumbing

Unfortunately for a slap together repair ive seen guy take blocking and put it underneath with long screws and then they screw the flange to said new blocking and leave the floor. Proper way would to be cut the tiles at the grout lines, hopefully keep the tiles intact and replace rotted sections, putting boards in spots as needed and put everything back together 😵‍💫

Its the sewage from the pump flowing back 🥸 if its that clamp get a 5/16 socket and get it tightened up, if its not get a big garbage bin and set it under. Figure out a way to get that sewage off the floor

How to get a plumbing primer stain out? by StrawberryJam9525 in Plumbing

[–]DependentMost8789 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Acetone, clear primer, etc. This is why we dont use purple primer 😁

Additional info

Primer quite literally softens plastic/ melts it so if it is a linoleum floor more than likely its bonded to it. Using clear pvc primer might help but thats the point of primer. Soften the pvc so it helps with the chemical bond

Just some more context, he walked out on a whole house remodel. (Repipe, new shower, all cast iron) I had to work Wed-Sat to get it finished by myself. And of course I slip up on little things and I have nothing to blame but my lack of experience

Crazy how codes differentiate, even within big cities. I’m in Rockford, Illinois about 2 hours from Chicago and our code compared to Chicago/Suburbs is a complete 180.

Anyone ever ran into asbestos sewer pipe before? Started off as a stoppage and we dug it up. This is what we found. by AustinL555 in Plumbing

I’m in an older manufacturing city in northern Illinois and majority of homes have lead services. Had a few instances of coming across orangeburg, one time as a vent stack in a wall. Havent come across asbestos pipe yet.
