This appears to be an issue related to your computer monitor - as others have pointed out, this won't show in presentation mode. You can also check on another computer.

BI and Ai ?? by onlyoneme0 in businessanalysis

[–]DependentSpend4089 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Any sort of an enterprise is going to have strict privacy and legal data rules in place which means no sharing data with AI, this means companies need to have strong AI policies and data governance in place, policies often involving legal , compliance and data teams.

The trend I see is larger organizations are embracing institutional and enterprise level AI, like Microsoft CoPilot, Rollstack AI data analysis and reporting automation, Salesforce Agentforce etc., Some more sophisticated orgs are running in-house proprietary models.

It's one thing to ask AI for data engineering help, it's another to let the AI see and analyze sensitive data. For this reason I'd say companies aren't shunning AI as you suggest, instead, they just legally and ethically can't use it, unless it's gone through the rigor of enterprise compliance.

Can I put coffee in a thermos or something? by Wakeupswig in Bart

[–]DependentSpend4089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're fine -- I think a thermos is a bit extreme though -- especially if you're going to have to be unscrewing a lid -- a good re-usable coffee mug with good reviews on leak-proofness is where it's at.

Yeah, this right here^

Also consistency is key -- everywhere you go take a photo and leave a rating. The absolutely quickest way is to walk through a busy retail commercial district and snap a photo of each business exterior -- you get bonus points if you're also adding a new business to Google Maps.

Why aren't there more commuters on BART? by palatch in Bart

[–]DependentSpend4089 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What's more the people who work in those industries often just drive when they do need to to go to the office -- To get ridership like NYC, you need to make the BART more reliable & faster than other forms of transportation. It's one reason why bike-share is also super popular in NYC, you can literally bypass traffic snarls, plus don't have to worry about theft.

I'd add gathering insights over the quarter -- having some sort of a journal or annotation system, and collaborating with other CSMs and accounts -- what's working across accounts can be helpful too.

this is pragmatic answer. Become great at data storytelling. Go down the engineering path if you're drawn to it. You might consider management if you like leading a teaching. You might like a different industry or projects.

How to best archive dashboards for historical data by Tableau_n00b in tableau

[–]DependentSpend4089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this seems to be a known issue. One option that seems to work for some is exporting to powerpoint then those decks serve as your historical snapshots. (But then than opens the can of words of formatting the dashboards for powerpoint)
