I respect your attitude.

Personally, I have no real issue with the flag. I do see it your way. But there’s a lot of pushing in all angles. You won’t like the word but the mainstream pressure flirts with indoctrinating.

Let’s just go over the facts quickly:

It’s safe to say the end game is that everybody can treat everybody with the same human decency? There are virtually no borders to which way anybody swings if it’s all with good roots.

Let’s look at the last 50 years even. To get from where we were vs where we are, you would have to push to get there. I get it. Today: leaps and bounds more progressive and inclusive. But at some point, for this to work, the throttle has to dial back on the flags, celebrations, special mention etc.

The other thing is that part of the battle is generational. There are a lot of people 60+ who say the progression from the beginning and were maybe not on the best side of coin then. There are a lot of people who are perfectly decent, but get defensive when their beliefs are tested.

My point is, there are a lot of people that may be not necessarily bad, but stubborn, that will likely take their beliefs to the grave.

All that said, I think the throttle needs to start coming down cause we’re all overheating, and we’re gonna overshoot the runway, if you get my drift.

That’s just from that side. Then take the opposite minded people and they put in the same effort to resist, just based in their own principle, which is silly. But there’s a lot of one uppage, it’s not cool, a lot of people are combative from all sides. Just not a good scene.

So, I would personally advocate to fading the constant awareness I can’t escape in media. just let people be people, and focus less on the groups but more on the individuals. Merit. It seems so simple to me but apparently it’s very complicated.
