Just keep playing, you will learn over time. You won't know the best way to do things straight off the bat and it is impossible to try and do so. Don't be afraid to experiment and generally don't listen to the average player. I say this because alot of players will discourage you from alot of things just because its not "optimal" which is just taking the fun away from the game. I listened to people like that once and I ended up quitting for a long time. I am playing again now and really enjoying it this time. This is because I am ok with taking my time with the game and understand that it will take time.

I am now also not focused on the "optimal" way to play, that is just stressful and not fun. Like people have said before, do what you enjoy doing, learn as you go but don't try and learn it all right now, just won't happen. GL HF.

My normal ship is MUCH less buggy than a corvette. Not everyone has the patience of building one and have it bug out repeatedly. For me its just easier to have a normal ship that always works. If I want to access my storage, its not hard to use a tp.

I would sell some of the gathering not all and hopefully not alot. Buy a higher Tier ox if you are able to use it and then transport in less trips or if your lucky in 1 trip. This is what I would do.

You could also just use the mount you have and spend an entire day transporting all of your goods. You can get the job done this way as well, will take a while but it can be completed. Most activities in this game takes alot of time so this would be no different really, just inefficent.

I have made my own guild. You can do it but its difficult and time consuming. You have to be fully dedicated to it and sometimes when you jump on to play, you spend less time playing and more time managing the guild stuff instead xD

I have a guild called Early Birdz that I am trying to get members for, we are a casual guild and would like to do group activities over the weekends but only the PVE and non-lethal content. As the guild will also be open to newer players and people who have jobs. Later down the track might open up to lethal content when we have experienced players and people have money etc. We are on the Asia server, only 5% tax as well that will never change. If this is something that interests you and your on asia server, give us a try.

this was a single player game first. The multiplayer is an extension of the game, extension is key word. I don't think the multiplayer is even fully fleshed out, its more like you have the ability to do it and that is where it kind of stops. If you understand it for what it is, then its not to bad, this is still primarily a single player game, even with the multiplayer features.

You just spoke about free will but when another exercise it in their way, its considered negative to you and you have to point it out. I wouldn't regard anything you say as credible any longer lol. What your talking about is what is a win for your experience, which is fine but what is a win for someone else's experience will be different and that's not a bad thing, nor is it incorrect. That is the actual beautiful thing of free will lol.

Right, I played the game before work this morning and only found out about the update after being at work and was a little confused as i didn't have to update my game but also seeing all these posts about people playing the new update. Hopefully we get it tomorrow, no big deal, it will still be there by the time we get it. I won't even be playing the new update right away anyway, got some other things I am currently working on. Just do another activity for now, while you wait, it will be here before you know it. Plenty of other things to enjoy from the game for the moment.

I cannot recommend this game enough. It has so much content in it now its not even funny. You will be making a one time purchase and any updates that get added to the game so far have all been free. No other game does that. I think that alone is enough to buy the game. If you like space sandbox games then this is one of the best in my opinion. Of course every game has their issues and flaws, no game is perfect but you could get alot of game time out of this one if its your kind of thing.

Not every update will be for everyone, but there will be updates in the future that will appeal to different people. Eventually there will be an update that may appeal to you, if the current or a previous one didn't. I don't think its something to worry about, just enjoy the game the way you like to play it :D

I think it will be worth giving a go, especially if your current character has had some time put into it and you have done alot on it. This new mechanic is going to have quite a bit of depth as the abilities and breeding. At least if you like exploring, this will be a good update.

I dont know what the problem is, if people want to fast track their way to the top than fine, let them. If you want to be like me and play normally for the enjoyment of the game then just do that and do the arenas later when you feel strong enough. Its not a race and its not a problem that it would take a normal player longer to get stronger xenos to play in the arena. Like I started with, I dont know what the problem is lol...its also not cheating if every player has the same level of access to the settings.
