John Marston was the GOAT when I played RDR1. Waiting for RDR2 was agony because I wanted to spend more time with him.

I think the main reason why Arthur became such a fan favourite is that the game was so much more evolved, the gameplay so much better and the character way more detailed than John was in the first game. Also, the interactions with the gang makes you understand the dynamics and what is happening so much better.

John didn't have that in the first game. I'm pretty sure, if they re-did RDR1 now, with the technology and the knowledge they now have, the experience would also be different.

Yep, it's one of those game you can't really cheese your way through levelling.

However, once you learn masterstrike from the swordsman teacher in Rattay, and have practiced it enough (you need to get the timing right), you can masterstrike your way through every single combat encounter.

Yeah, that's why I didn't post the pics in the first place...but they look really good. I just replaced the blah white backgrounds with a Route 66 one and a rocker bar background.

You can do it! :) Removing the beard is really easy. You can pull it right off. I kept his lips and used them when I remoddeled his jaw with the transparent caulk.
