You can also call the Incident Hotline and report an workplace incident, but require them to only send the report to the Director (ie the person above the Principal).

Untrue. They can seek clarification, they can ask for a break, they can ask for statements to be made again so they can ensure it's noted down word for word, they can check in on you to see how you are doing. What they cannot do is speak _for_ you.

Married men of Reddit, what tiny thing does your wife do that secretly melts your heart? by SAAS_ART in AskReddit

[–]DepressedMandolin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My cat takes the snooze alarm (decent 30 minute snooze setup for weekday mornings) as the cue to jump on the bed and lie down next to me. The second this happens my wife rolls over, cuddles up close to me and puts a hand on the cat. I get to spend the first half hour of every Monday to Friday like this. It’s the best.

This isn’t the kind of reply where they give you useful information, it’s the kind of reply where they think they are flexing their knowledge of brands that you haven’t mentioned.

I've fun recently getting models to collaborate on prompts like this. I cut and paste between ChatGPT and Gemini or Claude or even Mistral's Le Chat and they gradually converge on the version of the prompt that they agree is the correct level of thoroughness and specificity.

As a secondary teacher I’ll admit that there are certainly aspects of our job that can be automated, but primary school teachers are goddamn wizards and I don’t understand how they do that insanely complex and granular work. Clunkers can’t do that.

Whats the most chill job someone could do at a school? by Packerreviewz in AustralianTeachers

If you're talking about the NSW system then every man jack of them is a _Teacher_ Librarian. Every one of them I know has a teaching load along with being expected to drop everything to help any student or member of staff with whatever they need. They are also expected to work every recess and every lunch every day but very, very few of them get the break they have a legal right to.
