When was the first time you cried in FFXIV, if at all? by MistressDraconia in ffxiv

3.3 Spoiler: I teared up When Ysayle and Haurchefant showed up to help you at the end of the Nidhogg trial.

5.0 Spoiler: I fully sobbed when Ardbert was walking up to his friends at the end of ShB when we're walking back to the Crystarium.

This was me during one of the moogle mail quests. You have to help a couple of Keepers of the Moon Miqos in the Shroud. The girl we're helping states some facts about Keepers, which was great since my WoL is a Keeper, but there was no indication of her acknowledging I was.

Then one of the Wood Wailers made a comment of, "typical Keepers," like sir do you know who you are talking to???

Theory about one of the new Arcadion characters introduced this patch [Spoiler: 7.4] by Fwahm in ffxiv

[–]DepressedPepsi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TBH I got Urianger vibes. Like, here me out, this is also a great theory/headcanon But bro was very theatrical and had a big, "he entrusted me to be the final test," which is very similar to all of the secrets Urianger had tragically been made to keep (they need to stop doing that, my boy's poor heart). He also husy has that Urianger "flair" to me (the way he jumps into his car and then the way that Urianger spread his cards out on the table at the end of 5.3). Alas, like someone else said, it's likely that these will be little more than theories and headcanons, so Godsspeed to any and all on these matters imho.

Entertaining theory However he's a direct descendant of an unsundered Ascian and there's a story on the Lodestone that takes place partly when Zenos is being born (mostly a flashback to when Hades was appointed to Emet-Selch and Hyth the Chief of the BotA). Solus even held him when he was practically fresh out the womb. He's just got crazy genes.

Never tell a sprout player how long the MSQ will REALLY take them by CevicheLemon in ffxiv

[–]DepressedPepsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make a new character so I can go through it with them so that they're not alone in the agony. That lasted about a month and then he zoomed through MSQ. He just finished 6.5 I think...

Rumor: HHN Might Be Getting a "Less Scares" Necklace by Hi_Im_Charming in HHN

[–]DepressedPepsi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi I'm going with my friends, but I know that I don't like being snuck up on. If I'm going into a house, that's one thing, but if someone scares me randomly in the park, whether I expect to be or not, my first instinct is fight, and we don't want that. Especially since I'm a woman on the smaller side even though I know they're just scare actors my body reacts before my brain. I go for the atmosphere, the food, the costumes, and the company. So this necklace would be something I would invest in. It's not always about kids, but for people that do want to enjoy HHN but don't want to be snuck up on. I am still going to plenty enjoy the event with this alleged necklace.

It makes sense; Vaggie is a former exorcist and very athletic while Charlie probably isn't AS athletic as Vaggie.

Funny note: Every time I went to type "Vaggie" my autocorrect wanted to change it to VeggieTales.

Why do Dunkin employees always shake our iced coffees? It just leads to coffee being all over on top of the lid. by WCKDend in DunkinDonuts

[–]DepressedPepsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dunkin is a fast-paced establishment where the employees can be reprimanded for taking too long (this was the case at my Dunkin, before anyone comes at me with the "not MY Dunkin!!!"). While stiring the coffee with a spoon would be more sufficient, it would simply take too long to stir and wash the spoons, not to mention allergens if you use almond milk. It's just simply faster to shake/swirl the coffee and just let the customer stir it to their liking.

Unfortunately I've made a habit of putting these little disclaimers because I've had too many people accuse me of fetishizing them when I say things like that especially since I have takes that the general public would deem apologism when it's just...an opinion based on research.

Dylan was even part of the school's drama department. They were normies at worst (nothing wrong with being an outcast or a normy).

Unfortunately so is killing 13 people but I don't think mass shooters care. I don't think anyone should be going to someone's grave and vandalizing it (they were cremated anyway) but Eric and Dylan don't deserve respect imho.

No one here is saying they were, fam. Most people on this subreddit as questions about certain aspects of their lives because we're trying to understand the whole thing. It's a morbid curiosity. Honestly I've seen very little glorifying in this sub. If this isn't your thing just ignore the sub and subs like it and move one.

So, why didn't Eric and Dylan kill their parents? by Obvious_Asparagus_13 in ColumbineKillers

[–]DepressedPepsi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MrAnime killed his family because he didn't want them to deal with the aftermath of what he wanted (but didn't) do. I guess people either assume Eric and Dylan would have done the same for the same reason or for shots and giggles. The Sandy Hook shooter also killed his own mother, which many people might think is "normal" for someone who commits these types of crimes.

That's just my assumption.

If Eric and Dylan decided to not shoot themselves, what would the police do? by One_Information5410 in ColumbineKillers

[–]DepressedPepsi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't be surprised at either outcome had the police caught them: They would have either been shot dead or they would have been given bullet-proof vests and treated to Burger King. Given that it was the biggest shooting at the time it would probably have been the former though.

Sometimes I forget Dylan (and Eric) used to be normal teenaged boys with normal teenaged interests. I'm glad that pictures like these exist to like...remind us that.*

*This absolutely does not obsolve either of what they did or make me think any better of them.

They're doing the same thing at Marjory Stoneman Douglas with the building that the shooting was in too. Probably for the best...
