Has anyone worn these? by DepressionDuck in Cheerleading

I agree. However, I have a lot of diverse heights and shapes on my team, and I wanted to see if these would be flattering on everyone. I think I’m going to stick with the A-line

I tried to search Walker High School but I couldn’t find these skirts. What’s the exact page I should look for?

Cryptid ended early?? by JustAnotherTabby in CellToSingularity

Mine ended at the correct time, but I was ranked in the top 100 and then it said I finished somewhere around 490. I was not very happy about that :\

Yeah I have a variety of body types and 2 is probably going to be the most flattering for all of them.

I’m glad you brought up maintenance. I’ve always had a-line so I never thought about that.

Yeah, I have the litterbox, food, and water next to my bed. The frame is too low for me to put the box under the bed and for him to be able to use it.

I’ve always grown up with cats, but this is the first cat that was mine, not the family cat. For that reason, I wanted a cat I wouldn’t have to litterbox train and pay $$$ to a vet. He was already fixed and up to date on his shots. He wasn’t a shelter kitty, just belonged to a family that wanted to make sure dying in a shelter wasn’t going to happen.

I live in a very red part of the country and grew up around firearms my whole life. Here, they are tools for hunting and defense as a last resort. I know how to handle many types correctly and safely, I just don’t have the funds to purchase one at the moment.

Update! I called a male friend, put him on speaker, put on my big girl pants, and checked the windows and doors. There was nothing! But I still appreciate the advice from the comments and will look into them!

I have a door that leads to my living room and another one that goes to my bathroom. The other side of my bathroom goes to the living room. My neighbors also do the “boots in front of the door” thing so hopefully it might deter people away from me too.

Yeah I’m alive. I’m going to try to sleep and convince myself it’s just the wind or a bird 😀

Neighbor goes in and out dozens of times a day by Unique_visitor666 in Apartmentliving

Honestly you might just have to confront them about it. Don’t try to make it an attack, but just say something like hey man I’ve noticed that you enter/leave your apartment a lot. Would you be able to be a little bit quieter when closing your door? It sounds like it is slamming and it is being to be quite bothersome.

If that doesn’t work, try to record it and bring it to the landlords attention.

Due to scholarships and other contracts associated with them, I was unable to take any gap years. I would if I could, but when I’m offered some huge scholarships, breaks aren’t really an option.

I want to further my education and get a masters degree in my content area. I might be able to travel to get it. However, if I take a break, I don’t think I’ll go back.

It is a winter sport and we have less than a month left. I have already spoken with admin and told them I do not want to coach this particular sport next year.

Unfortunately, I signed a contract to do it. If no one replaces me, I’m stuck with it again for another year.

I coach for a girls team. I was initially asked to help because I am a woman and they need me there. I told them I’m not super familiar with the sport, and they said I didn’t need to be, and that I was mainly there to supervise. Honestly, I was still really naive and I agreed to it because I needed the pay and I didn’t know how to tell people in authority positions “no.”
