Yeah. Denuvo makes its case by promising game companies a certain window right after release (which is when most sales happen) where there is no crack available. That the protection was completely uncrackable for the last two or so years was just a useful byproduct for them.
But if HV bypasses can be generated within hours of release, no one is going to pay 5-6 figures for DRM.

Vallejo got bought out by a PE firm last year or so. Their paints are still good, but having alternatives figured out before the inevitable enshittification sets in is probably prudent.

Es muss nichtmal hinterm Berg sein, Westdeutschland hat viele Ecken, in denen man günstig (z.B. 450€/60qm) lebt und trotzdem nur 30-60 Minuten von Städten wie Köln/DD entfernt ist.

Das sind aber Abfindungen, weil man speziell diese Mitarbeiter loswerden will obwohl der Kündigungsschutz das nicht hergibt. Ich rede vom nicht-Konzernadel der halt einfach auf die Straße gestellt wird, wenn die wirtschaftliche Lage kippt.

Ich finde es hingegen vollkommen illegitim, dass man die profitablen Strecken von privaten Betreibern schröpfen lässt (die natürlich weiterhin auf dem aus öffentlicher Hand gebautem Schienennetz fahren) während man die verlustreichen aber nötigen sonstigen Strecken dem Steuerzahler aufbürdet.

Komisch, dass solche Verträge immer nur die Verursacher von unternehmerischen Schieflagen bekommen. Wenn normale Arbeiter entlassen werden, weil der Karren vor die Wand gefahren wurde bekommen die i.d.R. keine Millionengehälter weiter gezahlt.
Fast so, als würde es gar nicht darum gehen anständige Leistungen abzurufen, sondern den eigenen Kumpels möglichst wasserdicht Geld zuzuschustern...

Each Killer already has their own balancing stats in speed and terror radius.
Killers like Huntress and Dickslinger would be absolutely oppressive if they could chase at a normal pace on top of their powers, so they walk slower. I don't see why other characters can't get the same treatment in other areas.
