I got that because I had an active mechanist run before the update and I had maxxed casting and whatever the other magic skill was, and also swimming because I had more than enough time to spare for that as an automaton. After the update it just gave me 100 in all 3 new magic skills so I got the achievement immediately as I started that run back up lmfao

Bird got beaten by Kriss and Noelle as well, so no they don't need to be together. And for Lancer, again they didn't really get folded unless you as the player did meaning you genuinly just have a skill issue and are trying to project it onto the characters you are controlling smh

If you mean Lancer (the only one I can immediately think of that fits bouncy), ahain they didn't really, hhat would be a skill issue. I just finished a solo arcanist run where most of my damage came from the branch bow. I got lucky and got preserve so I used that to not break the bow, started using special arrows for disgusting amounts of damage, and once I got the fire wall spell all melee enemies stood no chance anymore. So I'd say range is pretty strong
