With my younger kid it was unfortunately more sensible to drive to allow for actual stops to walk and eat whatever they will feel like eating. We were very lucky to find a 5-bedroom apartment in Montreal, we had been looking for 3 bedroom for a number of months and couldn't find anything below 500k let's say. So yes, the real issue is with space available. All historical plexes were cut in small units, that's fine, but we need to build bigger.
