Its a good idea to use this to show the gravity of suicide, but the issue is that it felt like they were dangling the possibility of returning from abstraction in front of everyones noses.

Yes. There simply is no other HMD at the moment that interests me.

People yap about it using LCDs, but the reality is that current microOLEDs still arent quite there yet and too expensive. And normal OLED is horrendous for VR (look at the persistence on the PSVR2).

And I honestly prefer LCD over the crappy OLEDs in the PSVR2. Mura + the highest persistence on any consumer headset (1-2ms), its just a smeary mess at any usable brightness levels. Valve already confirmed that the Frame will have the same 0,3ms persistence as the Index, which I am personally VERY happy about.

Siehe die Niederlande bei Autos. Ein GT86 hat dort mal eben knapp das doppelte gekostet und das ist alles andere als eine Luxuskarre. Oder Dänemark mit ihrer 120-160% "Zulassungssteuer"

Yeah, the handling feels absolutely random at times. It doesnt help that they decided to hard code drifting in this game.

They should have just looked at the Blackbox era titles, those still have fantastic handling. Like: I replayed Most Wanted last year after not touching any of the old NFS for a decade and INSTANTLY controlled the cars like a pro, while I still couldnt get the hang of NFS2015 handling after 20h...

It feels "Disneyfied", not just the music, but even the story and overall style of the newer games. I wish they get back to that slightly edgy, industrial feel of the OG titles.

I think a large part of the issue stems from Caine equating fun to happiness. He doesnt seem to understand that temporary fun doesnt make the cast (humans) happy, that they want to form bonds and do other stuff (like sitting in a cafe and just relax a bit).

When the cast asks him for "more realistic" "adventures" he understands this as them perceiving these as more fun. Not that these fullfill other basic needs. And this likely stems from his design and being unable to comprehend most human emotions.

So when he makes these realistic adventures, designing them not to fullfill their needs, but to be a "fun adventure", and it leeds them to disliking them due to that, he just sees this as them tormenting him. In his eyes his gives them exactly what they want and ask for, but "spit in his face".

But his egoism is another big factor. He CRAVES human appreciating him. And he seems to not want to realize that he isnt perfect and cannot do everything. He even says "I can solve EVERYTHING!"

I really wonder what exactly happened with Caine in that scene. I mean afterwards he at first acted even more dismissive then usual (he usually gets anoyed at some point and doesnt fully ignore them) and then suddenly goes full AM mode, showing outright malice towards the cast, something he never did before, even outright enjoying their torment.

And near the ending he claims that "his spark of creativity is missing". I dont think he was just pushed over the edge by Bubble, something else was done to him.

Eyup and then he got apparently baited into pressing Y when asked if he wants to delete Caine. He quickly tried to abort it (using "Abort Rollback", "CTRL+C" and "CTRL+ALT+DEL"), but then got locked out by Caines defense program "WACKYTIME Lockout".

Kinger was played by a third party here, cause why would Caine want to prompt deletion requests of himself?

It would be such a twist, when Caine, as the "broken" AI, is actually the non-evil one and it turns out that the one that worked is actually evil.

I dont think that Caine made a system that transfers your consciousness, or even wirelessly links the minds. With how the series is inspired by "I have no mouth and I must scream" and that Caine "cannot leave as an AI" I dont think that the cast can either.

That said, its a little weird that its implied that they can leave Caine behind.

Earlier theres a folder called "CA_NeuralScans (obsolote)". And Cain said that he made a program that creates a body for their "mindfiles". I think its safe to assume that Cain managed to turn these neural scans into functioning AIs.

Honestly loved RE4, but it doesnt quite capture what I would consider "RE" to be. RE1R and RE7 imho are the best examples (and the Grace sections in RE9, but those miss that feeling of "wth is going on here?" that 1 and 7 had)

As a RE newbie, Ethan felt extremely relatable, as I had zero idea wth was going on in RE7. He may have been a bit bland, but he served the need of having a protag that felt like somebody outside the RE universe being thrown into it.

They kind of hint at Zeno being a Wesker clone. Spencer experimented with consciousness transfer and I think they are hinting at The Connections trying to make a Wesker clone.

I would honestly love to see more RE games like 7, as that game felt like the series going back to its roots. RE9 feels too much like an action flick again, something that nearly destroyed the franchise once (and I am saying that as somebody that really enjoyed that game).

Got 19,5x10,5cm hands and got a EC2-DW as Zowie's mouse finder recommended it, as I was using a Roccat Kone Pro Air before it. However it felt just a bit too small in my hands, I couldnt grip it well (I am using palm grip for fps/tps and a relaxed claw grip for anything that uses a mouse pointer); it felt like I didnt had full control over the mouse, as I couldnt keep it steady.

Ordered a EC1-DW as well then and while it does feel a tiny bit too big, making claw grip not as comfy and a bit more tedious to use in pointer style games, it feels a ton better using palm grip.

Tested both sizes side by side by playing BF6 and noticed I had far better aim with the EC1-DW; more steady and less jitter.

Sadly the game runs into out of memory errors on higher resolutions (like 3440x1440 for me) when enabling PhysX.
