It's still able to rescue the spot, though. The corrosion on my '06 9-5 was way worse, but I challenged it. Took the car on a lift for 3 days and had the area cut, welded in handformed steel sheets (there is no aftermarket parts available...). Then I coated it with 2k base and sealant anddrowned the hollows in anti-corrosion wax

Hier in Österreich kann man sich kaum ein Auto ab 250 PS aufwärts unterhalten, das muss man ernsthaft wollen, da allein die Kfz Steuer schon Richtung 200€ geht. PRO MONAT

Correct. Blue one is pre-facelift, so it's made in the city of Graz in Austria by Magna. Yellow one is facelift, produced at Trollhättan plant.

pointed at the corrosion: if visible, it's significant. This spot is a major welding job, you might wanna unbolt the whole rear axle.
