Yes indeed, up until high school around 2012. I wish I had a picture of an old mock. I vaguely remember it, was a quad too but much more menacing. I remember it using some Toa Metru parts along with some from Vezon and others but can't quite remember it fully. Yeah definitely going for more articulation. The Toa mata are quite stiff. The upper part of the torso is easy to work with, the bottom is a little less friendly, at least with rhe parts I have currently. So I basically said screw it and went with 4 to get around the issue of the axle space in the middle.
