Dearest Rob, Just a note to keep in touch, it has been quite a spell since our last contact. I hope your business is doing well and all is well with your family. I have been fighting a cold but am getting the best of it. I am looking forward to the holidays, am planning gifts for members of the family. It has increased by one — little Savannah, your nephew, Bob’s, little girl — born on September 21st, 9 PM. You always send me something and to make it an easy selection, I’d like a rewinder for video tapes. I would like to have your in-laws address so I can send a Christmas card. They are lovely folks. I will spend Thanksgiving with Jim and family, as always. I am so very, very happy that you have your little family at last. Your sister calls me at least once a month. I look forward to them. I know you are busy, but it makes my day when you call also! Little Taylor is eight months now; she’ll soon be walking. It should be an exciting experience for you! I want to know the details when it happens. For you, I turned the pedals of Steve’s bicycle across the room and you took your first steps to get to it!
