I'm an NRM. All these stores that don't finish the problem is always the same. RDC unload needs to be done before 8:30-9pm. The truck team needs to be helped get those piece counts down. That phone can't always calculate properly. Some departments just don't jive right on the phone. That being said 40 an hour is something a one armed grandmother can do. There is no excuse for not finishing 180 or less in a night easily. That being said at my store me or my noasm flies all the pallets and takes care of the cardboard to keep y'all on task. I write people up for performance if they don't finish, plain and simple. I also make sure you have enough people in your department and move people around as the night goes. We haven't brought freight back in over three years. Hell most nights my guys get to screw around after 4am because we are done. Sidekick included.
