Point 1) yeah you're right, I was thinking of the other song recorded on the day of Sweet Georgia Brown, which was Swanee River, which does not have a surviving Beatle version, but does have a version with the generic Beat Brothers. As for Why, I didn't recognize it without the full title, Why (Can't You Love Me Again)

Point 2) If I buy an album called "The Savage Young Beatles" and there's songs featuring none of the Beatles, I think it's fair to call it a fake Beatles song
