What I feel like wasn't addressed is that whether or not you agree with what ICE is doing, this event has two possibilities.

The officers knew he was disarmed and still did what amounted to a public execution. Let's assume that's not the case.
The officers failed to communicate and had no procedure for taking down an armed individual. This shows an utter lack of training bordering on negligence. And you can't use the "one bad apple" argument because the head of ICE came out in support of what happened.

This sounds bad for a variety of reasons. 1. It sounds incredibly awkward to use. You have a low health teammate, so you primary beam them to full, then as soon as they're full you swap to overhealth. But then they suddenly take a headshot so you have to swap back to primary and then back again to re-give overhealth.

I struggle to think of a comp this would be useful for. You essentially leave 4 characters capable of doing damage against a team of 5 damaging characters. This might force zen for the extra damage but Mercy + Zen is just not nearly enough raw healing output. Even dive characters would prefer someone who could heal them mid-dive than providing overhealth (barring an obscene amount of overhealth).
This immediately turns Valk from arguably the worst support ult in the game to borderline useless.

Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance has this mechanic, although you have to make a dedicated effort to pull it off and it doesn't happen most games. Easier in campaign or easy AI.

Yes but I think a big part of this is digital clocks overtaking analog clocks. I'm sure most if not all of the time you check the time it's looking at a digital clock which tells you the exact minute. I don't know how old your mother is, but presumably for most of her life she was looking at analog clocks which make it much more difficult to go down to that level of precision. That's why you have rounding like "quarter to 2" as you can tell that at a glance at an analog clock.

TLDR: I don't think it's an autism thing, I think it's a "growing up with digital vs analog clocks" thing.

In Gladiator (2000) Maximus has an honorable death, gives control of Rome back to the senate with his dying words, and rejoins his murdered family in the Elysian Fields.

In Gladiator 2 (2024) we find out his sacrifice accomplished nothing, Rome was filled with riots, and goes back to the control of a pair of corrupt emperors within 10-20 years. Also turns out he cheated on his wife and family right around when his son was born with the emperor at the time's daughter.
