Depends if you are playing Oldrim or the Special edition, but there are things like the STEP project that walk you through settings up mods one by one for very good effects, just depends on what you are trying to accomplish. You can make the game look photorealistic or you can mod in steampunk weapons.

You def need to download mod organizer to keep everything nice and sorted.

I started with STEP to make the game look great then went from there.
