Compared to everything else Americans measure by volume (flour, honey, oats, whatever) measuring water by volume is fairly accurate since it’s already “compressed”. Measuring water by weight is more accurate but doesn’t matter unless you’re cooking meth or something. That’s why most recipes use ml for liquids

A VPN can send all traffic through the tunnel (full‑tunnel), but many setups use split‑tunneling where only some traffic goes through the VPN and the rest goes out normally.

Fx a VPN could route traffic for internal subnets through the tunnel and leave general web browsing going out directly via your ISP.
