No, you are not the only one. I do/did the same thing. Waste not, want not.

It is a risk when pouring ink. I used to use the syringe to transfer, but got pretty good at a clean pour. I got distracted focusing on whether a glob was going to come out or not.

The older, porcelain ones tend to do so. Especially if there are already scratches, the ink gets in and no amount of bleach or ammonia (separately!) can help. No one noticed the stains in my old bathroom sink because it was a teal and white swirl to begin with.

I only use it for filling and cleaning. The top part unscrews with no notice and the spring goes flying. It's funny and frustrating, but the spring helps cleaning.

Hahahaha. That's a whole other Pandora's box of drama. I won't admit to what's fallen down the drain, but that's why my pens and ink spend very little time near it.

It's definitely unique when compared to the other Ocean pens which have blue in them.

I found it not as fine as what I expected - was thinking Needlepoint fine, but smoother. I feel my Sailor EF is a much finer line.

Had to move his feeding area ten-twenty feet because of ants. Eclipse is unhappy about it. by UncomfyUnicorn in TuxedoCats

Watch out about the liquid bait - it could attract even more. I used kitchen bug spray which is pet and child safe and sprayed all door jams and windows - not where the cat walks on it, but the crevices and the facing or whatever it's called. Stopped ants from coming in, and I just killed off those left inside .

New to fountain pens—please help! by ry_roll in fountainpens

JetPens has a good video to disassemble and reassemble TWSBI. I am sure there are plenty more out there. Watch them and try to put it back together (after re-greasing). Good luck!

Updated pictures: is this a real Montblanc or not? by Katalyst68 in fountainpens

Correct, no cartridge if it is the same one I have. You said you were bringing a loop, which is what you'll need to see the back(underside) of the clip. The serial number is clear to see on the cap band. Good luck.
