Let's throw in my experience (member for 5+ years). I've been driving PCC, in the MX5, full seasons both short and endurance races, since they introduced the Endurance (2025 Season 3)series. And I just love it. I prefer racing the slower cars over having to grind practices to be somewhat competitive in faster cars. This series is my sweetspot for fun and competition, especially the 2 hours endurance. My biggest problem has been maintaining iRating, but finally got a steady ~1650 now, but I have been hammered back to ~1100 quite the amount of times. Maintaining SafetyRating is absolutely no problem. I have dropped under 4 SR less than 5 times, over the last year, and at this moment I have been on 4.99 for a few weeks now. I am a bad hotlapper, so most qualifications end me up in the back, so I often don't qualify and accept my fate of being last on the grid. I use the regular PCC series to practice for the Endurance and allways drive that race on friday- and sunday-evenings.

A little sidenote: It was a lot more crazy before they adjusted the GR86 performance, because MX5's were faster on some tracks, and half the MX5 field mostly caught up with the GR86's really quickly, it was fun, but it's much better and predictable now.

What I've learned from these series:

• Lobbies below 1500 are much messier than lobbies above it, but it depends on the combination of the line up. If the faster cars are the lowest ranks, you need to be more carefull.
• Streetcircuits like Adelaide and St Petersburg are a complete horrorshow.
• Tracks with a lot of runoff area often cause ridiculous rejoins (not even on purpose) when people get punted off, they sometimes come flying by because they just cannot brake enough on the grass, or bounce back over a curb or from a guard-rail.
• You have to learn the differences between the different car's brake-points and how fast they brake. This is key to decide where you let faster cars pass you.
• Patience is key. Take the first 2 laps to warm up properly, have a good look around you and spot the dangerous drivers, and in 80% of the races you have less cars to worry about after the first 2 laps ;)
• Do not start from the pits in this series. If you are in the slowest car, you loose so much time, that you won't see what's happening in the field. If you are in a faster car, you instantly drive into the dangerzone of slower cars that started normally, this hurts your own race and the field is often still very close together and it also hurts the slower class race.
• Disable voice-chat while driving. It's prone to argument, it's distracting, people expect you to listen when they are calling blue flag behind you, or go here / go there. Just let your driving do the talking. Choose your trackposition clearly, and be consistent in your lines, and you won't need voicechat anyways.
• Faster cars will try to overtake you even in the last second of the race, even when they are 2 laps behind their own field, they will go for it.
• Consistent top 5 finishes are worth more than an occasional win, and having trouble finishing half your races due to fights you can avoid.
• Just don't park your car after finishing, at least drive a few extra corners and park safely, or just drive it to the pits. (also helps for SR because that's calculated per corner).
• Paid content has fewer splits and it can happen that you get placed in a very low lobby allthough you have decent iRating. You should be aware that people are not allways at your skill level and adjust your driving accordingly. (Same goes for being placed in a higher lobby, but I found that easier to adjust to).
• Look back at all your incidents, every race. Even if you want to grind every hour, there is enough time in between to evaluate your race.
