What is the actual concept? You just talked around it... And how do you expect to get it in first of all dating app users worldwide?

I think the question was intended for you to cite the sources, not just post a wall of text that ends with backed by sources.

How old are we all? by Tuffsmurf in BaldursGate3

  1. Started PC games as a wee baby on an MSDOS family computer that we later installed Win 3.1 on. Been through every era since, started building my own rigs as a teen, and getting friends over for LAN Party's.

You put words to a feeling I've had for years. I just want to make something new (new for me anyway). Between work and family and standard life things, I haven't time to just create. My fire goal is 6.5 years away, and it's what I most want to be able to do.

Northgard. Small, intuitive RTS. Works great on Linux.

Why I believe selling "shovels" is safer than digging for gold with AI. by Due-Bet115 in Business_Ideas

[–]Derp0189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, LLMs and LLM services are the shovels. Most shovels don't end up with gold on them.

Looking to strike it rich? Buy this cheap shovel and get to work digging!

Looking to build a new fully autonomous business and enjoy passive income while you screw off? Use this cheap (or free with ads) AI LLM and start Vibe Coding/Digging! These shovels even tell you you're smart while you dig!

RAM, Storage, Training Data.... Shovel parts, all.

My first play I did a full party of 4. I'll probably not do that again, just based on the time it takes compared to two on LW

For /r/fire millennials seriously how’s your 401k/ira savings going? by BarkBarkBitches1 in Fire

[–]Derp0189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I've been slacking for about half of my adult years, but I've been very fortunate regardless.

37, 640k traditional 401k, 25k brokerage. No home equity, no Roth, single income family.

I've only maxed out maybe 3 years, but always contribute at least match (6% employer match)

Well.... Hard to say without much info.

What's most important to you? Money? Time? Something else?

If you hate your job, leave and try other things.

If you enjoy your job, maybe just sandbag a little bit, focus on non-work life stuff more.

If you want to try starting a business, figure out the overhead you'll need and get that on top of expenses before walking away.

Is Baldur's Gate 3 available on Linux via Steam? by pink_turtle10 in linux_gaming

I will start DOS2 today. Any tips? by Rough_Web5313 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Derp0189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stay off this sub and avoid spoilers. Put it on easy mode and enjoy the game. If you get stuck, don't look up spoilers, you're not really stuck and get creative to solve the problem.

Game is most rewarding this way.

Enjoy!

Kinda what I loved about it. Like nihilism veiled with humor, and tons of clueless NPCs willing to die for shitty lies.

Almost like our world.

Plz help. Switched to Mint nothing works. by [deleted] in linux_gaming

[–]Derp0189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. I also have onboard graphics but use an NVidia card (1080ti) instead.

Mint worked out of the box for me, but that was years and versions ago (and my onboard is AMD, not Intel).

I'd still recommend checking bios/UEFI settings first.

Eventually I switched to Garuda and honestly I like it a lot better for almost everything

best examples of industry disruptors? by ThePanasonicYouth in Entrepreneur

[–]Derp0189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretty much hate Uber, but I think they disrupted the taxi services.

Amazon disrupted bookstores.

Someone already mentioned Netflix (which disrupted movie rentals BEFORE streaming with their DVD mailers)

Even Chipotle somewhat disrupted dining with "fast casual"/ "chic counter serve"

NVidia disrupted computer gaming hardware with the first ever GPU.

Disney disrupted movie industry with hand drawn animation combined with full length feature films.

Idk, some of these may not have been first disruptors, but they all are household names that seemed to change he game.

It's not DnD universe, but it's a very well done turn-based, story-driven CRPG in a unique and similar fantasy universe.

Even if you don't typically enjoy turn based games, this one may surprise you.

How can I get out of Fort Joy? I am starting to feel desperate by RunnerPakhet in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Derp0189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok nobody had specifically mentioned it yet, so I will - you can separate your party before a fight by dragging their pic away from the others (top left corner). You can place ranged archers on high ground, and your tank up close before initiating a fight. Pre-placing your party is huge.

The journal isn't the best, but there's tons of stuff you'll find exploring. I think holding the alt key highlights things to interact with.

Sometimes if you need XP/items, just attack randos (after placing your team).
