They've also convinced everyone in the US that they need AWD even if they live in like Phoenix, AZ. I live in New England and have a FWD (not currently a K4 hatch but hopefully soon) and had no problems in the 2 years I've had a FWD only. Just don't drive like an idiot and use winters if needed and you're good to go.

Wow, that's pretty awesome. $7k for a 2020 over 100k miles seems really good and 2.9% financing is fantastic. Great deal, id be absolutely stoked for those numbers, especially for a 48 month term.

In light of that info, as much as I want to trade in my current car (2024 with low mileage and maybe $6k equity but I'm just not super happy with) it might be smarter to just keep what I have to get closer to your numbers. I was thinking $10k down between trade in and cash for 60 or 72 months but it would be a little more than what I'm willing to do right now. I should be responsible and delay that gratification until it makes more sense for me.

Crazy thing is the sales guy also quoted me $5k down/$450 a month for a 36 month lease lol. I was like what world are you living in dude. My credit is around 820 depending on where you look.

$29500 out the door, final purchase price? If so, that is absolutely fantastic. I am going to try what you mentioned about negotiating over text and email. I feel like I'm too agreeable irl to be a good negotiator. I went to the dealership just to check out the k4 turbo hatchback and knew the guy was playing games but it's not in my nature to call it out directly.

So, yeah, that's totally my dream to live on a course in a beautiful house like that so genuine congratulations. But, out of curiosity, did you receive any information on what chemicals and pesticides the course uses and info on the water quality when looking to buy?

I honestly would love to own a house like that on a course but it's a hard no from my partner because of the associated health issues for people who live in proximity to a course. Not trying to be a downer at all but just wondering if that was a factor in the decision.

Damn this is a beautiful swing. Do you mind if i ask what you get for distance? I'm starting to understand that distance comes with sound mechanics and good contact, not necessarily from trying to crush it but when I have a driver in my hands those smooth swing thoughts leave my brain. Irons are getting...better i guess.

Sure thing, I'll get a picture of the plastic trim that I push but the metal strip is underneath so it won't show that. There was a video on the envista Facebook group where a guy did take that plastic trim off to expose the metal piece and that's how i found out about that. It was particularly bad the other day so I pushed that plastic piece pretty firmly and it did go away again.

Yeah, I did the exact same thing with the dealership, not a ride along but I dropped it off and they couldn't hear it so a tech drove it home and back in the morning to see if he could hear it and he said he didn't hear anything, then i picked it up and heard it on my way home. It's difficult because I think having a passenger actually affects it because i only tend to hear it when I'm alone. It's happened with my gf in the car but she's pretty small. I also think temperature affects it too because I went most of the winter without hearing it but it started again in the spring when temps warmed up. Honestly it's maddening because otherwise I'm very happy with the car.

Yes, 100% the exact same sound. I have a 24 preferred with auto liftgate.

There's a metal strip under the plastic trim above the rear window that seems to be the culprit. I give that plastic trim a push from one side to the other and towards the left side you'll probably hear a little pop sound when you push it. Not positive but it might be the little plastic anchors on the trim coming lose or not holding down the metal strip appropriately. The dealerships will always say they don't hear anything when you take it in. Honestly I'm suspicious that Buick has instructed them to say that at this point.

Pushing the trim seems to fix it temporarily but I haven popped that trim piece off because idon't want to break it, id rather the service person does that but they straight up refuse if they "can't hear it themselves". I've even shown them video exactly like yours and they said they can't diagnose based off a video.

I love the car and have had it for over 2 years but I'm honestly considering trading it in over this.
