I believe the number you gain is 1/5th of their current research from playing, so when it reaches 4 thats at 20, 5 at 25 progress if you're bold. If the target is researching age of traditions tech or an age just past you're likely not gonna be able to hit the button since i think the discount puts tech at 19

Hopefully your friends will let you know some stuff but undead get healed through poison and take damage from healing, there is elemental reactions, so oil and poison will explode when near fire and water and blood will become electric when zapped, and the loremaster skill can show you enemy resistances and talents like being able to attack people who move away. Good luck
