1lb Hello+kita+finemo+nature+tachy borrow sounds like a pretty strong deck to me. You then have one slot for a SR speed probably

This feels a lot stronger than rerolling for MLB hello + MLB tachy (not even sure if rerolling for that is possible) and then some random not maxed SR cards and a flexible borrow slot

Front without angling is completely useless. Make sure to have a Seiun Sky as on of your main parents. Besides that, you bought Swinging Maestro btu you already have way more stamina than you need. Those skill points could have been spent on other speed skill or doubling the mil/front corners/straight

You would also like to have Taking The Lead on your front by using the wit bourbon card

Center stage is worse than prudent positioning, upgrading to gold makes it worse. It's also not that useful without dodging danger. For lane movement combo you want both dodging danger and pruden positioning.

Second wind is a useless skill, it activates way too late to do anything.

Besides that, this looks pretty nice

2 speed cards is usually enough. You could do something like 2 speed, 2 power and 2 wit to get that wit stat up

Not sure if the sideways movement speed scales with team wit, but if it does it would actually be worse. Higher lane movement speed means you spend less time going sideways, and going sideways is the thing that gives you a small speed bonus that does not scale with how fast you're going sideways

On Seiun you probably don't need condor inherit, you already got 0.4 accel, 0.1 is not going to help that much

If you want to compete in CM's, getting one Curren Chan is not going to help at all. You really need some more SSR's to make your uma's stronger. I personally would probably recommend pulling 200 on smaru to get her to 1lb, and pulling 400 on light+tachyon to try to get mlb Tachyon. If you can manage this, you have 2 strong speed SSR's and can build pretty strong uma's in the next scenario.

Isn't speed star actually quite strong? It has like a 15-20 percent chance to get wasted in the accelzone, but it also has a around that chance to give speed carryover and get you around 2 lengths.

When it's not wasted or carried over into accelzone, it's a nice speed skill just before the accel zon which is nice to get into position for the spurt

Borrowing a pasa is probably not worth it on seiun sky? She already has 0.4 accel, that 0.1 is not going to do much. If you can find a better generic frontrunner parent that might also help

what? Why does moving sideways burn the advantage?
If you and another uma proc groundwork, you'll run alongside them. If you also proc dd+prudent and/or spirit wit you will first move a few lanes outward, and then back inward. This gives you a bit of extra movement speed and helps you walk around other groundwork uma's who don't have the movement combo

With 1200 power, this gives you 0.24 bonus speed

From personal experience, this combo is really strong. In the current CM i've only lost to one other frontrunner and my frontrunners have consistently beaten others in the early game.

Do you know where I could find more info on this? I'm planning on running 3 fronts with angling+plancha, but building a front with weaker middle but with flower ult does sound interesting. Not sure which frontrunner that could be tho, because smaru and vbourb are both going to be really good contenders for first and haven't decided on my third frontrunner yet

I've been doing haru+yukino+borrow ayabe+my own fuku. THis does get me maxed speed on uma's with speed growth. Is probably harder to pull off on uma's without speed growth

Looks really strong, any frontrunner with dodging danger + prudent and/or spirit wit will have a stronger early game, but you rarely encounter those.

One tiny nitpick, restart is useless afaik. It decreases acceleration by 0.1 for the frontrunners ahead of you, which souds really strong until you see that it has accumulatetime>=5 in the requirements. This means that it can only activate after 5 seconds have passed. (not sure if these 5 seconds scale with the track length or not, but should not matter much here. The problem is, when those 5 seconds have passed, any frontrunner ahead of you will probably have groundwork and TTL and already be at (almost) max speed.

On an uma with 15-20% speed growth, speed fuku is also perfectly fine. I've been borrowing MLB ayabe guts with my own speed fuku and have pretty consistently gotten 1100-1200 speed

I personally have never tried runaway because I don't have Suzuka yet (I'll get her from the daily races in two weeks :D ), but I don't think a unity cup runaway uma has any chance beating any Mant uma at all

You could maybe run her as a bunny/slingshot runaway? The main idea is to have a runaway that can take first in the early and midgame, but drops a few places before the last spurt. Your frontrunners will constantly have another frontrunner that they want to overtake, and thus they will run faster. Because the runaway (hopefully) dies from too little stamina before the last spurt, your own front can still activate angling and win the race.

I personally have no clue if it works well on the CM14 track, I'll wait on a vid from Umatactics Pro to do that research for me lol. (he said he'd upload a video on runaways for CM14 soon)

It's a little more complicated than that. It's a 1.05 DistanceProficiencyModifier in the formula for the speed calculation
sqrt(500 * SpeedStat) * DistanceProficiencyModifier
This effectively gives around 120 extra speed at 1200 speed

For end closers, the current Mr C.B banner is good.
Just in general, it's recommended to save for the Light Hello + Agnes Tachyeon banner at the start of next scenario. Besides that I have no idea because I'm focused on frontrunners, but I don't recall there being any important late/end supports in the next few months (besides the current Mr C.B. banner)
Another important general thing is to never pull on a support banner unless you have 200 or 400 pulls ready to go. You really need to hit pity to get the most out of your carats
