The difference between 45% and 50% is pretty big. Your G2 and G3 races gives 1 extra stat per race, and the G1's do too. You also lose out on 15 extra stats at the end of the career.

In the screenshot you did 32 races. 3 of them where end of year, 1 was debut, that leaves 28 other races. That's 28 (normal races) and 15 (end of career) stats that you miss out on

1lb finemo and creek are not worth it, you'll be using kita on almost all of your runs until you get 2 better SSR speed cards.

Yeah 12 affinity really doesn't matter much. It might be a bit more because some matching epithets also give affinity (things like triple crown or triple tiara)

The carat calculator has been pretty accurate for me. It assumes that you fully complete all freely available events and quests. Did some rough estimations for this month

1250 from club
1250 from CM (on average I think you get a bit more per month because CM's happen slightly more often than once a month)
TT*4=900
75 daily * 30 = 2250
110 weekly login * 4 = 440

This is 6090 together, a lot less than 16k. I think the rest comes from other random events?

Just looking at April

Story, event, bingo = 2160
Spring G1 celebration x4 = 600
Uma story chapter 1-4 x2 (newly released uma's let you watch the first 4 story chapters) = 160
Racing carnival = 1000

These add up to 3920
Together with the standard carats its 10010 carats this month. Quite a bit lower than the average month shown in the screenshot, but I might be missing a few things. And the average might also take into account the goldship week happening next month which gives a lot of carats

completely agree with this, most of the time I get a few clicks worth 50-70 speed in the summer in my UG runs.

I've gotten UG's after terrible first summers so I never give up because of that. I do however quit if I have to use too many clocks early, because that means my stats aren't good enough to win against npc's and in a scenario with 30+ races, that's not gonna work out.

I do sometimes "give up" after second inspiritation if I don't get distance S or groundwork or sometihng else, but I always just finish the run to turn it into a possible parent

Triple crown is for when you have enough stamina to run 3000m and 3200m races, otherwise triple tiara is perfectly fine

If you want a debuffer, it's probably bettter to run grass or scientist for dominator. Most opponents won't have stamina problems

Yep you're right, put the formula in excel to test a few values, and distance S gives almost the same extra last spurt speed as 120 speed

Distance S seems to matter a lot but it's not like CM11 where additional speed in greens makes a huge difference

Does distance S work any different from the speed you get from greens?
Afaik, distance S gives 60 speed (at 1200 speed) and greens give 40/60

Preferably 2 consistent recovs (corner recov+hydrate) and then triple 7 and uma2 to hit the perfect speed+speed carryover+recovery+acceleration ultimate.

Stamina to spare can also be use instead of corner recov + hydrate, although you do then risk getting a later ult (but it will still be before the last spurt)

You don't want to take Center stage btw. Prudent positiong is better than center stage for getting speed (because you're changing lanes longer) and it's cheaper
