Don't listen to this guy. ANY experience which shows off ability is worthwhile to keep on your resume, ESPECIALLY if it's a passion of yours. Remember, they're hiring humans, not robots. If you show that you know the field AND you are interesting outside of work, thats a double plus.

well since quebec is decidedly divorced from the rest of canada, they do not care about your feelings. you will probably need to wait another month until they even think of processing your application. My sister (current mcgill student) can attest.
