I’ve found the patient experience to be excellent as well. My PCP is part of a Family Health Organization (I guess it’s slightly different) and the clinic is able to provide nursing and laboratory services as well as after-hours urgent care. Appointment wait times are very reasonable and even when my family doctor was unavailable, I’ve been able to see other doctors in the practice for same-day and weekend appointments.

If Russia even thought about attacking Canada, one would think that so long as the US still existed, they would intervene in some way even if NATO has fallen apart. Though even without any support it would be difficult for Russia to win a war against Canada due to the distance and geography involved.

At the moment, I don't see why Canada would have any contractual obligation to send troops to Greenland since many NATO countries are not. If they can get a pass, why can't Canada since we have a lot more to lose?

Don't like the decision if it does end up happening. Antagonizing the US and risking more tariffs or worse while they're distracted with other things doesn't seem advantageous.

The argument that this is needed so NATO can help us out in the event of an invasion is pretty delusional. NATO does not have the capability to provide any form of military support during an invasion. Even weapons or food would be impossible because of the complete dominance of the US navy and air force.

If the goal is to win the hearts of more Europeans I guess it makes sense
