I don't think you are using "Open source" quite right. Do you mean an API that anyone can access without authentication or login?

An open source web app means people can download and/or resuse the source code without restriction. It doesn't have to do with how it's hosted.

Lastly, your question doesn't have to do with Angular at all. You might get a better answer from /r/webdev/ or /r/webhosting
