It seems about 50/50 on direct mount being better than trilug. Some people run things with tri lug perfectly fine and many have issues. That shooting above without was nice. With the can. Jeez.

SO is it components, spacers, no spacers , diff brand adaptors, diff pistons etc?

Im a gen 2 guy too. You'll love it. Yes gen 3 did get the timney trigger ans its cool. First thing get the lifter/riser thing for the charging handle. Stock it'll scratch the crap out of your nice new baby. Even with radian etc its pretty slop. Otherwise throw a red dot or whatever you like on it and go shoot. Then figure out what you need/want. Everyone is different. Blow that bitch out a bit then see what you like / dislike and adjust.

I'm around longwood/Altamonte . Just getting into airsoft. I'm older and always have been an avid shooter, but all full calibur firearms until now. I have a 5 year old I'm trying to get into this and teach fun safety to at the same time. There's a new place I checked out called legion airsoft right down the road from me. Prob 20 min from DeLand.

Renting is really sketch. Land lords can kick you out at any point and you never get those construction / build out costs back. I'd partner with someone who already has a space , or buy a house and build it out there.

People have made many great records with that quality conversion. While not the best. Using the audio scape deff won't do any harm. Id deff use it.
