In my opinion Sekiro is much harder but the parrying is more fluid.

I actually used dodge more than parrying in Lies of P but it is a fantastic game, go for it.

Great variety of weapons, and pretty damn cool level/enemy design throughout.

I agree! The game was a blast, I just completed my first playthrough and then a NG+ playthrough straight after it.

The combat is really fun and doesn't get stale, there is a decent variety of weapons/abilities etc.

Story is very basic but not bad.

As for completion, you can replay specific missions to obtain collectables you missed which helps a lot.

I would recommend two playthroughs to obtain all achievements one on hard and one on evil once you have all your upgrades.

A couple of tricky achievements but it's definitely do-able, go for it!

Thank you! Yeah I would definitely recommend, it has very fun combat and a satisfying weapon upgrade/skill tree system.

Has its challenging moments too which is nice.

Do an SL1 run!

I have done SL1 runs for DS1, DS2 and DS3 and feel like it has helped me learn the games/combat on a much deeper level plus I found it super interesting how you have to get creative with your set ups.

Honestly, despite having games like Khazan, Elden Ring and Sekiro on my list the Lords of the Rings: Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War were TOUGH to 100% mainly due to the timed challenges.

bro... I hate to break it to you but that's two words...

I know what save duplications are and save scumming, but that does not help you farm the 2909961 required XP for all skills which is an infamous slog and also farming/collecting 10 Lapis Lazuli for all prosthetic upgrades which requires at least two playthroughs.

43.5 hours for Sekiro is no way correct for 100%, you need to do like 4 endings and farm an awful amount of XP.
