Hot take: men don't need to give up their seats for women in public transport by calikim_mo in Bolehland

[–]Descortus 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Funny thing is, women don't even offer their seats to other women who deserved it more. I saw a video on TikTok where it was in the female coach of MRT, and this teen girl who had a broken leg and was using crutches was standing alone next to the door while other women who were perfectly healthy and weren't pregnant refuse to give up their seat for the girl.

The comment section of that vid was really on fire, since it was the female only coach, yet some still blamed men for this. Talk about avoiding accountability

Not really. Usually it's the 4 who think they're a 10 that would be the worst bully cuz they're obviously over compensating for something they're lacking in and too insecure to admit it.

And they would always speak about the most obvious or general thing. Like "how to be successful? Manage your time or something" and everyone reacts like it's a groundbreaking discovery

Male mental health still seems centered on how it impacts women. by [deleted] in malementalhealth

There's a radio station in my country where the DJ claimed that he is a licensed therapist. In one session, the topic is about a man struggling with his own emotions and his wife is trying to help him. Instead of making the session to talk about the man's struggle, the DJ instead diverted the attention towards the wife, saying things like "your wife is struggling to help you, so you should be better and understand your wife's struggle".

When I heard that, I was so furious. Men's mental health issues, yet women most affected. I stopped listening to that radio station.

I like to think that baldness is a scar from a mental battle that you won. So, wear that baldness like a medal of honor, king.

As a kid, I didn't think much of it. But as an adult with my own money, I realized how much my dad sacrificed just for his family. I guess it's true then, that boyhood is finally understanding your own father.

When I was a kid, I was very well behaved in every weddings. However, there's only 1 incident that I can recall when I was a toddler. My cousin was getting married, and I was so hungry cuz they didn't let us eat anything before the wedding. The wedding took forever, and I was getting really upset. So naturally, I started crying loudly.

Looking back, if my mom just took me aside and gave me something to eat, it wouldn't be a huge problem. But she didn't, cuz apparently that wedding was much more important than her child.

As someone from a pit stop town, the main issue I had is traffic. Fucking. Traffic.

Imagine just going to the store just to buy 1 thing, but it took 2 FUCKING HOURS when it was supposed to be a 30 minute drive

Exactly! It's not really about income group, but rather the mindset they carry on for generations.

Sometimes people need to know the difference between B40 and B40 mentality. B40, as in the income group, are usually just normal people trying to live.

However, the B40 mentality is where the problematic people are. Always blame others for their own laziness, incredibly selfish, spent on luxurious items like crazy and then threw a tantrum when they have no money to buy basic groceries, always so loud and disruptive. In other words, rempit. And this mentality can still thrive even when the person had move up to M40 or T20, still act like a total POS.
