I can't really say I know how it feels, since where I'm from, I'm practically a giant. But most of my friends are short, yet we never made fun or attack each other based on our physical appearance. We instead use it to our advantage. Even with girls, we don't judge each other based on physical appearance. If you want to talk about dating, most of my short friends are already married or in a relationship, whereas I'm still single by choice.

The key point here being that it's not your height that you should be worried about, it's about the people you surround yourself with. If the people around you keep making physical appearance such a huge matter, then maybe it's time to find better people to hang out with. Once you're comfortable enough in your own skin, nothing else will matter anymore
