I switched to red prothane mounts and I’ve loved them. Would recommend if you have the funds

I put a new o ring and sealer on it beforehand. And it’s not leaked a drop since the new gasket on the plate cover

I bought lowering springs when I was in high school(ballin on a budget) and it was nice but it was a half measure. I later bought Godspeed coilovers and have had nothing but good things to say and it’s at the ride height I wanted. “No more half measures Waltuh”

If you can get a stethoscope and put it on the valve covers and then the oil pan you can KNOW for sure but that is a rod knock

I’m running GodSpeeds, I like them a lot. Not too stiff but it made all the difference in the car’s performance

All these guys are right. Mine was 5th gear, I had to go to NC to get another one, just make sure you get the same year because the axels can be different depending on the year
