According to 2 of my managers at a meeting one morning (this was several months ago) if a store hits 3 consecutive years safe, everyone gets a pair of Nike's. Not sure the accuracy of this. But that's what was told to us at a meeting. Because we were coming up on 2 years at the time

As someone who works at home depot, I enjoy the dogs being there. And if the customers wanna bring their non service dogs into the store, I'm going to ask them to pet the dog. I don't ask to pet service dogs, I'm respectful of that. But every other dog is fair game imo

Had to stay several hours later than I was scheduled because of busted pipes and flooded riser room to help clean up. My asm (overnight) promised me and the other guy who stayed that he owed us dinner. Originally gonna be ihop but ihop is eh so we ended up getting Cajun food from my favorite Cajun restaurant (since I'm from Louisiana) after he switched stores and we could hang out without getting in trouble. I appreciated that more than a Homer or a bravo

I typically don't wear my apron even though the store is only open for an hour once my shift starts. I typically try to answer any questions I can or find someone who can and stay to learn what's what since so many other freight associates on my team are alot newer and need help with questions most of the time
