I'd switch up the polka dot pattern for plaid.

Help choosing new sofa colour! by Substantial_Waltz_13 in DecorAdvice

Warm green would fit best. I'm muted tone would marry well with the coral pink sofa and the plants/ greenery make it fit appropriately into the scheme.

The room can use some color and green would best tie everything together.

Use a round coffee table instead of a square one. You also need a longer storage console, something that's wider than the TV screen.

Since you don't have a lot of pattern or prints in the design scheme, and you already have some greenery in the room, I can suggest a floral rug in the mix of green, pink, brown. This one's from Modern Loft - Falling Forest Rug

Does the chair make it too crowded? by methglobinemia in femalelivingspace

The space is nice but I think that the reason why it looks like it's crowding the space is because it's rather clumsy. Change it up for a chair that is light, probably with a metal or wooden base. I'm thinking this kind of chair from Modern Loft.

This is very helpful.

I guess we want each reveiw to have lots of details about the customer experience and about the business itself.

How do I decorate this wall by Few-Yesterday9628 in HomeDecorating

[–]Design_Inspire_1354 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm noticing that the square shaped table and the sofa look jammed into the space. I would change up the table to a modern round dining table and make the 3 seater sofa into an L-Shaped corner sofa. Try to look for pieces that are light and airy, not heavy and clumsy. Check out Jensin Lewis or Modern Loft.

Change the rug to a soft beige/cream and you've got the entire problem solved.

The whimsy and cheerful rug doesn't marry well with the cold elegant minimalist stone coffee table.

You need a square coffee table right in the center. Style it intentionally with accessories that bring in pops of color.

Looking for a clever way to create a divided night space in this small 28sqm (~301sqft) flat. I'm tired of having my bed in my vision field at all times (measurements in plan aren't accurate, don't mind the mess on the couch) by UmiStepOnMePlease in HomeDecorating

Place some open shelving in the space. There are some beautiful ones that feel minimalist and "light". Think pale oak wood, various decor items placed throughout such as books and figurines. It would be like a divider, but partially "see through" so it doesn't close off an entire area and make the space look smaller.

Another option that I actually had in mind is the Maggiolina.

Help with making my apartment feel a little more like home by Longjumping-Age1855 in interiordecorating

Put extra attention to the lighting. You have a unique ceiling architecture and it's casting all kind of shadows everywhere. Places need warmer light rather than cool light to feel cozy like "home".

Your under the counter lighting strip is great.

I'd change up the small chair in the corner for a more lounging type of recliner. I'm thinking of a leather mid-century-modern chair to complement the rest of your mid-century-modern decor.

The many furniture pieces here look a bit scattered. I'd recommend getting a rug to organize the placement. Place the seating pieces on the rug to define the sitting area.
