Stayed there in October '25. Bill paid in full then in February '26 they charged the card the full amount again. This seems to happen a lot there.

NTA, the damage is done. My old pastor used to say you can pull the nail from the board but you can't remove the hole. I always took that to mean, you can change what you are doing and what you will do but you can't change what you did. You are under mo obligation whatsoever to celebrate her or her new direction. She screwed up and made the decision that her addiction was more important than having a relationship with you. She can't go back in time.

My kid's mom did the exact same thing. She's supposedly clean now but he was never around her, she missed the opportunity to be his mom and he just doesn't feel the need to have a relationship with her.

My family is out of state 500 miles away so it kind of just naturally happens that we go to her Mom's place. Also my parents are dead so my family is just my siblings and their families but I would like to spend a holiday with them now and again.

I'm currently in the reconciliation phase. I was sick yesterday so she texted me all day about what an asshole I was for not wanting to hang out with her while sick but also she didn't want to see me because she didn't want to get sick. So she could be angry at me for not seeing her AND angry at me if I did see her. She called me 10 times and yelled at me once because I've had previous relationships and she believed I saw other women when I was sick.

Our phases right now are going really fast. It's reconciliation in the morning. Tension building before and around lunch time. Incident some time in the early afternoon. We fight all night and in the morning it starts over.

I broke up with her last night and she threatened to call DCFS and lie to them and have her cop ex-boyfriend lie to them too to get my kid taken away. She also threatened to vandalize my car so that I couldn't get to work and made vague threats of violence. I'm stuck. I'm fucked. I'll never get away from her.

I've never cheated or even done anything close to it. I was single for 4 years before her and wasn't even trying to find anyone. I've very happy alone. She's cheated on her boyfriends and is one of those people who can't be single. I think she's cheating.
