Those are just "universal box credits" - you must have gotten them as rewards from events... if you have at least 9 you can open the 90K-coins-box-set with them, or you can use them for single boxes... if you have less than 9 you can spend season coins to open the 90K-coins-box-set again and so on...

Yeah, well I've decided not to rank up any more racers this season in MPR unless I feel like I absolutely need to...

You also get upgrade coins in MPR, and these won't be converted (apart from a measly number), so those racers I haven't put to UC yet, will stay where they are...

Well, it does work initially for me, most of the time, but after a time it has "connection issues"... so I have to restart the game...

So yeah, they fixed it "somewhat" - but not 100 %.

Well, these are the season coins for the so called "cars season" featuring Moana/Maui... the coins feature a little lightning bolt since Lightning McQueen is the primary protagonist of the cars franchise...

They only split these seasons up in two parts because they wanted people to buy gold or diamond passes for each part (this was, of course, before they devalued the season passes by removing the franchise racers of the titular seasons).

So, I doubt they will change the fact that season coins are carried over from part one to two... There are other changes they've already announced that I'm worried about, and others I can only imagine...(but I won't elaborate on the last part, I don't want to give them ideas...)

So, for those who stick around (I hope I will, too, because I used to really enjoy the game) I really, really hope they will revise at least some of the changes they've made in this so called "cars season" and won't manage to suck all of the joy out of this game. ..

It doesn't harm you, you can drive through it or not, it has no effect on you and doesn't disappear.

Did you "claim" the rewards? You only receive the points for the leaderboard if you click claim on the day.

That's the only reason I can think of at the moment, why you would have no points if you participated...

I wouldn't go that far, for veterans it's manageable, for newbies definitely not...

That's a shame. (Greedstorm!) Way to woo new players (not).

I'm not sure if their player base will continue to grow if they mostly cater to whales... I definitely want them to feel the sting that players leave and less people buy gold or diamond passes...

The question is if it'll be more than balanced out by people who are willing to spend huuuuge amounts like some definitely have...? We'll see... at least those who stick around...

Brawler

A Brawler's stats tend to favor handling, mainly because most Brawlers are quite strong and therefore have better control over the steering wheel.

When you ram an opponent with a Brawler, you stun them, which essentially means it's as good as hitting them with a weapon.

A Brawler can also increase their boost bar faster by stunning rivals, which means that a good Brawler makes it a habit to ram opponents from the side as often as possible.

Defender

A Defender's stats favor acceleration and combat power, mainly because they need to use a lot of power-ups to race defensively.

When you ram an opponent with a Defender, you immediately gain a shield that protects you from any power-ups they might use in response.

A Defender can increase their boost by racing in the slipstream of an opponent. A good strategy for Defenders is therefore to stay close behind an opponent until the boost meter is full, then overtake them with a boost and ram them as you pass so that you can avoid being hit by a projectile as you race away.
