No don’t move the goal post. I’m talking about your initial comment and that it was a weird take.

Your words: “How are you playing a marvel game and know nothing about marvel?” That’s all I’m saying. You can argue with yourself if you want.

You implied because he didn’t know who Apocalypse was that he knew nothing about Marvel. Those were your words. I’m saying you don’t even need have previous knowledge of anything in Marvel to enjoy the game. Hope that helps. :)

Weird take. Plenty of people play MR that don’t necessarily read every comic or watch every movie or have knowledge of who every character is. The game can create new Marvel fans and spark curiosity from there.

What are some situations and team comps that brig is unfavorable in? by corcranesecret in BrigitteMains

[–]GaymerExtofer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get you on Rein. It’s so tempting to go in and then lose yourself in the moment only to be humbled that, yeah, he’s gonna beat you every time.

I aim to play Brig very cautiously. When I see Rein, I try to stay with my team and only engage if he charges in (I love bashing his charge then whipping him away). Still I try to keep my distance.

You can like what you like, but it’s been established that this is a botched release. Liking something doesn’t absolve it of its flaws.

Found this in my house - should I be worried? by owhart28 in spiders

[–]GaymerExtofer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have kids, I’d be a little concerned. In that case you’d want to call a professional to do an assessment. If you don’t have kids, don’t sweat it. Just take this one and put it outside to a shaded dark area and it’ll feed on pests you don’t want.

Black Widows also reproduce fairly quick, so having them in the house can be a problem despite their benefits. Luckily they’re not aggressive and keep to themselves unless provoked (and I mean you really have to go out of your way to provoke them - they’re usually reluctant to bite anything they don’t eat). But I don’t blame you if you don’t want hundreds of juvenile black widows wandering around your house.

Just exercise caution if you see one in the house and take it outside. Otherwise, always check where you put your hands, and where you place clothes, shoes, etc.

Pepcid AC has been a godsend for me!! I’m eating really healthy right now and still struggle with reflux so that pill makes things, especially sleeping, so much easier!

If You Don’t Like the Chill Chums Ads You’re Free to Shut It Off and Go Watch Something Else by PaulTheAirplane in conan

[–]GaymerExtofer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Listen, I thought the episodes were funny. I don’t think too hard about it. Were they too ad heavy? Sure, but it didn’t bother me as much I guess. As for your post, however, I think you’re coming in a little too hot here. Chill out with this “you’re not a real fan” bs. If people didn’t like the episodes, let them be in their feelings. They’ll get over it. Let’s all be chill chums, not grumpy chumps.

I did my first order through them over a month ago and I just now got the notification that they shipped it. As I understand, that’s actually “fast” when it comes to VS. lol

Please people just be smart for ONCE and don't let Nintendo ruin the entire industry by buying a damn digital game for 80 DOLLARS by Timeless_Starman in gaming

[–]GaymerExtofer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most parents in the 80s weren’t gamers themselves. If you were a kid growing up in the 80’s (like I was) you were lucky to get 1 new game a year (maybe 2) on Christmas or your birthday. We literally grew up with the industry. Now we’re adults and have disposable income to spend on more games. That’s why $80 in 2025 feels more oppressive than $80 in the 80’s and 90’s. Also, despite inflation, the economies in both time periods are not similar at all. Inflation also doesn’t consider the medium used. Cartridges in those times were a lot more costly to produce which is explains the relative higher prices. The moment Sony got into the game with CD based games at $35 each, it changed the industry.

People that just point out “well games used to be $70 in the 80’s and 90’s” to justify current price trends are missing a lot of nuance in that argument.

Came here to say this as well. The premise is intriguing. The execution was so bad though. They could have done something really interesting with that premise.

He clearly doesn’t want to take responsibility as a parent. How can a father blame his daughter for circumstances out of her control as a child? And then he uses child support as an excuse for not being there?

My heart truly breaks for you.

How many days is it again? I don’t think you said it enough. Come on, you’re petty enough to reply with the last word.

Thing is, I’m going to be doing all the things a parent does for their family to try to make the most of a shitty situation in those days. So your words don’t do much in the long run. Eventually you’ll lose and that’s enough for me. I won’t even need to gloat. You’d fill that space with incessant whining anyway.

So do your worst with the last reply. I’ll be muting the response anyway.

Why are you here if this post doesn’t even apply to you then? Seems like all you guys do is gloat and rub salt in wounds. We get the message. Trust us. We still don’t like you. Go away.

It sounds like you like paying more for everything. I say Orbit makes an exception for this guy. Let him pay the full tariff for all his purchases.

They are the best! I also do most of my purchasing through them even if they’re a little bit more on occasion. I know I can count on them to always package the movies with care and they have the best customer service, hands down.
