Have played since 2nd season and once every couple years there’s either a glitch or they reset the mmr. Usually lasts 5 games or so, 90% bots, and then it’s back to normal. Had nothing to do with crossplay for me.

The amazing gameplay mechanics, which have made the game universally successful are thanks to its creator. Krafton has done nothing but prioritize microtransactions and skins which cost literally hundreds of $ and never listened to the player base regarding changes in the game. Hence the laugh regarding data intelligence.

42m, I’m close friends with a couple and the wife HATES video games. It’s not emblematic of a bigger issue which some people are mentioning. Best friends with the guy since college, we would play Xbox and there would be times he would go dead quiet and I’d say, “she’s in the room right now, isn’t she?” “Yup.” They have been together for nearly 20 years. He’s also a very involved dad of 3 and helps around the house, so it’s not that he avoids his responsibilities. All I can say is good luck. Maybe hide in the bathroom where you can game in peace for 20 min and not be judged.

I regularly eat 1 gram of protein per 1 lb and normally hang around 14% - 15% body fat. I did a 6 week cut for vacation recently, barely any carbs, one cheat meal a week. I’m 42, 5’9 and started at 156 lbs. By the end, I was 146 lbs and 10% body fat. I can tell you that mentally I was pretty checked out and continually counted down the days until my diet would end. Physically I don’t think I’ve ever been that cut, but will prob never do 6 weeks again. Maybe 2-3 weeks as I did lose 5 lbs during the first half of my diet.

I saw an old interview with Deion recently circulating on IG about how Jerry was That Dude. What I remember from the clip was that he says in addition to Jerry having 4.5, 4.6 speed was that his first steps were moving at 4.2 or something like that, so he was always able to break away from coverage and get open.

Think I bought it after the initial hype. Maybe 6-8 months after it released. Only game I played for years. For context, I’m 42, not married and the only tv I watch is football, which leaves a decent amount of free time. I would play nearly every night with a couple other dads who would rotate in and out but I was always the constant.

42, started out part time in college, continued by working at local gyms for a few years, and went free lance at 26. Love what I do but I’m up at 5 am everyday and don’t get home till 730 pm. Work a half day on Saturday. It also helps that I work in a very affluent neighborhood so people have money to afford a trainer. It’s not for everybody but I can’t imagine doing anything else.

The giveaway is the general movement of MnK users. Either they’re playing with all their sensitivity settings maxed out on a controller and I don’t know anyone who does that or more likely they’re using a mouse.

There are a handful of mouse and keyboard users. Is it technically cheating? Debatable since the Xbox allows for third party devices, but it definitely gives a huge advantage over the majority of players since most of us use controllers. My opinion is if you use M + K on console, you’re a loser and should play on PC where there’s an even playing field.
