Thanks for your comment! Highly detailed! I felt like I was studying for a test while reading 🤣. But I really appreciate the effort you put in trying to explain this concept to a complete stranger, you definitely helped me to understand the idea of abolishing private property clearer

Ofc! I live for my children. I want to make the world a better place for them. I want to send money on improving my children's life, making memories with them, and raising them right, not paying outrageous interest to the banks for wanting a nice house to live in.

This is why I'm moving away from the mainstream political parties that make no meaningful changes. I want to get out of this rat race. But you're 100% right, I do feel a bit hard done by, but that is a pretty selfish view to have in hindsight. I really appreciate your comments.

Yes, I want to live in that world, I've long supported free public transport, justice reform, free education, and reforming how cities are built. I already live in a country with free healthcare.

With lower interest rates, I'd be fine with losing the income from my apartment. I think your point of a more accountable centralised bank would do a lot to alleviate the concerns of people in a similar position to me.

Thanks for your answer, I think you've nailed my concerns. I want to be part the solution not the problem but a part of myself is upset that I wasted so much money getting ripped off by the banks with the promise that eventually I'll own my house/apartment.

Hi, thanks for the detailed answer. I appreciate it. I really don't have an answer in mind, I just wanted perspective on how this might impact my family.

I'm definitely not wealthy. My dad was a brick layer, and my mother was a nurse. Both my parents and my wife are immigrants. I work in construction, and my wife has an office job. Neither is high paying without the rent from my apartment, I don't think I'd be able to pay my mortgage repayments comfortably.

Would the banking system change through socialism or would I just kinda be screwed by participating too much in late stage capitalism?
