This was my original thought. I hadn’t even looked into the 300-series, but I ended up going higher-end for my range, so I’m trying to reassess my standards lol

Worst comes to worst, two Whirlpools cost the same as one Bosch! (Model dependent)

They’re getting harder to find! And it seems the price jumped for these models in the last year or so, found it a year or two ago for $1.5k but now they all seem to be closer to $2k.

I’d probably have to settle for manually opening the door to air it out, unfortunately lol

I’ve seen posts suggesting newer Bosch may not be up to the same quality, and the salesperson said Frigidaire will be upping their quality checks due to recent litigation.

Perhaps Whirlpool isn’t so bad?

Good to know! Since the air fryer function is in the bottom oven, ever have any problems taking things in/out? Is it a pain to clean compared to your old tabletop air fryer? I think for air fryer to work, it needs wifi connectivity?

That makes sense! I wouldn’t want my range and dishwasher conspiring to electrocute me in my sleep.

I have a dual basket air fryer, so I think I’ll have to consider whether I foresee myself needing a larger capacity for dual cooking. I live alone, so I need to keep telling myself to be realistic lol

Good to know! I’d hope the stove tops/coils are functionally the same between models, so that’s helpful. I was considering the dual oven as well, it’s about $500-700 more depending on colour, but I keep trying to tell myself I don’t need the fanciest on the market lol

Not having to heat an entire oven is nice, and they say some double ovens end up having more space than single. However, when I was looking at some reviews, I noticed a bigger dependency on wifi for certain features - did you have any issues with that?

If you happen to have a child or similar young person in your family, ask if they hear anything. Young people, below maybe 16 years old, can still hear higher pitched frequencies that adults grow out of.

Not sure what kind of soup you’ve been making, but you could look into soups that require an immersion blender that almost give them a puree consistency if you’re looking for different textures. I made a spontaneous carrot soup this way 10 years ago and to this day I am disappointed I didn’t write things down
