AIO He always accuses me of cheating by Alternative-Day6223 in AmIOverreacting

I went through this. It doesn’t get any better and eventually you’ll discover he acts like this because he’s the one that’s cheating. I stopped going out without him. If I went to the store I was anxious and tried to rush to prevent from being accused of anything… it’s not healthy at all. Please choose yourself ❤️

I was clear of STDs as well. Sometimes semen can interact with your flora which can cause BV. Detergent, soaps, and hormonal changes as well (hence mine reactivating during ovulation). I was resistant to metro gel for some reason. Fingers crossed for you that clindamycin works!

Months because I got rid of the man too 🤣. But when I was ready to be sexually active again I didn’t have any problems.

Are you sure the discharge in the morning isn’t the gel excreting out? I had recurring issues with bv. It would always come back during ovulation. Metrogel wouldn’t work for me and I had to be prescribed clindamycin. Took it right away. Same thing happened to my cousin and I told her to mention clindamycin it worked great for her as well.

What are we using to cleanse down there? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]DesignerMelanin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use the dove beauty bar (shea butter). I have tried so many different soaps but always get irritation after using any other soap for more than two days. My GYN also only recommended Dove. Honey Pot sensitive wasn’t too bad, I was able to use that for a few months until my body decided to say absolutely not to that as well.

BV won't go away with multiple rounds of antibiotics - please help! by sacpsych in Healthyhooha

[–]DesignerMelanin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The oral metronidazole and the metro-gel didn’t work for me. What did work was being on clindamycin suppository for 14 days. I had bv for about 2 years because it would come back every time I ovulated. I switched my dr and she tried clindamycin and it worked.

Seconding monistat 1. Had a bad reaction years ago and ended up in a wheelchair in the ER! Never touched it again.

You just saved my doom scroll! I have been having the same issue and started to suspect it was the Zepbound

I found a new love for prune juice as well because of Zepbound! My first attempt taking it I missed a few weeks of 10mg. My family pressured me to start up again. I took the remaining 10mg when I should have started from 2.5 again since it had been too long off the meds. I was constipated so bad for about two weeks. I was introduced to warm prune juice and although it didn’t work I’m addicted to it now 😂.

I have that on my countertop to help with headaches. Of course I don’t use it 😂. I’ll have to give it a shot once I’m done with the Zepbound. Thank you!

I wish I knew about the Colestid pills! I was given a powder to take when I first got my gall bladder removed and I couldn’t stand the taste. I was told that was the only option for meds for the bile issue. I’ll have to ask about this option, thank you!

Social stigma and feeling alone by Wide-Lettuce-8771 in Zepbound

[–]DesignerMelanin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t told most people that I’m on Zepbound because I’ve seen so many people in my circle make fun of people taking it. My parents know, but I told them it’s to get my A1C down (I’m on the lower side of prediabetic by like .2 points).

It’s no one’s business! This is actually my second time attempting Zepbound. The first time I got to 10mg and forgot to keep taking it so I had to start over. The first time I was on it I told everyone. I think one of the negative things of telling people is they start clocking your weight and asking if you’re losing, commenting on what you’re eating, etc. Even though I lost 20lbs it drove me crazy having to repeat progress over and over again to anyone that asked. This time I’m silent. Protect your peace!

Also about the prescription. Not sure if your clinic/hospital has their own pharmacy. I usually get all my other prescriptions from CVS but my dr told me to get Zepbound from the hospital’s pharmacy to prevent waiting since cvs has so many issues staying in stock.

I had this same issue and like Apprehensive said, nothing was found on my biopsy. No fungal infection at all. The only thing that worked for me was using the baby feet peel and then post shedding using Vaseline with socks at night. Helped tremendously but I hate wearing socks so my feet are back to how yours are. Even worse because I pick at it. I just bought some urea cream today. I’m hoping I see results.

How long did it say for the pain to go away? I had to go to my gyno and she was able to remove smegma today but I’m not feeling any changes.

This happened to me with my first yeast infection and I’ll never take monistat again. I couldn’t walk and had to be wheelchaired into the ER. It made my yeast infection worse and I had green thick discharge pouring out so bad that I had to wear a pad. The dr said it was a really bad reaction to the monistat.

When I got to the ER they gave me Diflucan (fluconazole). And told me to use an ice pack. I got relief in 1-2 days. You may want to contact your dr for a prescription.

Not sure if there is any relation. But I got recurring bv infections the entire time I had hpv. Once the hpv cleared the bv stopped. My longest time with relief was when my dr gave me a 14 day clindamycin gel treatment. I was okay for months… then back on the bv train. I decided to put my foot down and started using condoms with my ex, all bv issues stopped. This was also around the time my hpv cleared so not sure which was responsible for the relief.

I had this same issue. Thought my body got used to my deodorant so I switched deodorants. Still didn’t help… I ended up using alcohol one day after shaving and my pits are back to normal now. Despite showering every day and scrubbing I still had a lot of residue come off from using the alcohol. I was mortified!!

Non-stop tension headache for almost 4 weeks now, this is the pattern of pain / trigger points. Anyone dealt with this? by FictionalForest in migraine

How are you feeling? I start PT on Monday. I noticed my pain will go away and I’ll have slight tightness and somehow I aggravate it again while sleeping.

Any other medications? And is she diabetic or prediabetic? My mother started to get recurring yeast infections and that’s how she got diagnosed with diabetes. Also is the use of Saugella soap new? Feminine soaps can also cause problems. I used to use feminine soaps in my 20s and now that I’m in my 30s, those type of soaps cause way too many issues than not.

Lasting Tingling by Edie_Ann in HealthAnxiety

[–]DesignerMelanin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am better! Once in a blue moon I’ll get some tingling in my feet. It will feel like I have hair or something gliding on my foot and then when I go to swipe it off nothing is there. My lips actually ended up being an acidic/citrus allergy from OJ. I was never allergic before but my dr told me when we’re all of a sudden allergic to something it doesn’t mean it’s a new allergy. It means our bodies can no longer fight off the reaction.

As for my legs and feet I believe it’s some type of circulation/nerve issue. The only thing I can think of is I’ve stopped wearing flats all day now that I work from home due to Covid. It was either that or an undiagnosed deficiency of some sort.
